The First day of Stemmersion
Journal: Today, we, as a class, read Looking Around by Anne Lamott. We discussed how the text shows a simplistic way of thinking and how it discusses learning how to slow down and enjoy your surroundings. Also, we got to know each other and even completed a team building exercise. This involved two teams trying to reach the end of the hallway using only four wooden blocks. Finally, we listened to Mr. Scott Gesel, Professor from Wright State, talked about how to successfully write about nature while using different medias.
