"My time at Eastwood"

Today, we traveled to Eastwood Park, one of the five metro parks, to enjoy kayaking and nature's beauty. I observed many things while kayaking but this are my "highlights". The river moved like a people mover in the airport; slowly carrying us to our next destination. I heard the playful noise of daycare kids. The sound of excitement that kids make when they learn a new skill. On the cusp of my tongue, I could taste the small water vapors that disintegrated on the surface of my skin. The water playfully jumped in the boat; wanting to hug my legs like an afraid child griping on their parents’ leg for security. The aura of poop radiated the way the sun’s rays shine on a warm day. The kayak was a mini sailboat how it tackled the river like a boat conquering the seven seas through a disastrous storm. It skated across the river in a way that a plane skims through the clouds. In conclusion, kayaking filled me up with a happiness that only a younger kid can experience when opening gifts on Christmas morning.
